Today we are talking about saunas. Why? Over the past three or so months they have become part of my weekly routine. Every Sunday, my boyfriend and I take a sauna- think skin detox and toxin flush. Not only that, but it feels nice.

I am part Finnish, maybe that is why I am an avid fan of the sauna or maybe it’s because it makes my skin feel silky smooth. Whatever the reason I want to share the benefits of the saunas with you.

I’m not the kind of person who can sit in a sauna for an hour and be content. I’ll be honest, I get way too hot. I like to enjoy a 20-30 minute sauna, wash and get out. It doesn’t have to be an extremely time consuming experience.

Saunas not only feel nice, because of the warmth, but they actually have researched benefits. Let me tell you some of these benefits.

I love that-better sleep, increased attention span, beautiful skin– who doesn’t want that?
